Looks like the lower levels are no longer warming, but starting to cool along with the surface temps - at least up the Roanoke River arm at Beaver Dam.
October is here and the surface temps are finally back in the 60's. Looking at the graph there is only a 6 degree difference from surface to 87 feed - likely to put the striper anywhere in the water column that the bait is....
The surface is slowing cooling but the depths continue to warm a bit creating a fairly even temperature profile across the majority of the water column. The 60's are soon to be here....
