Low 60's are dominating our surface temperatures in the main channel, with upper 50's being seen in shallow water areas such as the back of the creeks. Yep - it's Fall!
Fall is definitely here - below are the water temperature readings for the past two weeks and you can see the continued drop in the surface temperatures - while the deepest layers still continue to absorb some warmth from above.
Here's the latest - the cooling trend has resumed with this week's cooler temperatures, rain & cloud cover. Feels like Fall Fishing!
Well, the Calendar says it is October but we've had a recent warm spell which has slowed the temperature drops. More seasonable temperatures are returning - Fall is coming......
