​Striper Mafia Catch/Photo/Release (CPR) Striper Fishing Tournaments at SML
​The Striper Mafia is a group of striped bass anglers on Smith Mountain Lake dedicated to the on-going conservation of the striped bass fishery at Smith Mountain Lake, VA and elsewhere, while having fun and enjoying the wonderful resource which we are provided. Led by SML Striper fishing expert Mike Ward, the Striper Mafia believes in responsible angling practices and protecting our big fish - religiously returning them to the waters so that others can have the joy of catching them in the future. The Striper Mafia Tournament Series  ia a Catch-Photo-Release model in which the fish are immediately returned to the waters from which they were caught.
