It's the peak of Summer, right???? You would not know it by the last few surface water temperature measurements - third week in a row of a drop - of course, this could be somewhat timing related as a cloudy day or two can drop the temperatures a few degrees.... and notice that the mid-depths are still warming a bit. Guess we will see what the rest of August brings - are the Dog Days of Summer ahead?
